Cleansing often sets the tone for the rest of your skincare regime as it is the first step in preparing the skin ready to absorb all the other goodness that is lathered on in the later process.
Cleansing or double cleaning helps remove any dirts or excess sebum from your skin. Why double cleansing , you might ask? The methodology of double cleansing is applicable where make up or sunscreen has been applied earlier in the day as the additional step which is now the first step, using oil based cleanser, is purposed to dissolve any make up or sunscreen before the second cleanser, in most cases foaming cleansers, will clean the skin of any residue to reveal and refreshed skin.
