One of the most common skin problem is clogged pores, if not taken care of properly, the excess sebum in the clog pores can be a breading ground for bacteria, which could lead to whitehead, blackheads or even worst acne. The good news is there are various ways to manage clogged pores to allow oxygen to flow freely to prevent the formation of bacteria. I'll focus on the 3 main steps to help you get your pores under control.
Deep cleansing

After the usual double cleansing routine, use a deep cleansing mask to extract the impurities from your pores. The Mediheal Mogongtox Soda Bubble Sheet, is my personal favourite as it is simple and easy to use bubbly mask that provides a deep cleanse using the micro bubbles that forms as it penetrates deep into the pores to lift trapped dirt and waste.

If you want to treat your dry skin while deep cleansing, the Neogen Canadian Pore Cleanser, is the way to go. You can even use this on top of make up and it would absorb excess sebum and clean away any water and make up in one step.
Exfoliate
By exfoliating the skin regularly, it reduces the changes of the dead skin cells being trapped in the pores. This is especially important for people with oily skin, as pores are generally larger due to the oily pores. The Neogen Bio Peel Gauze Peel is best suited for this job, as it contains lactic acid to penetrate deep into the pores to clean out the pore-clogging debris.
Moisturise

Did you know oily skin could also be dehydrated? Dehydrated skin can cause the skin to process excess sebum, which would then lead to oily skin. Always use a light moisturiser to ensure that your skin is replenished of the all essential moisture, COSRX Oil Free Ultra Moisturising Lotion is a light weight calming moisturiser perfect for anyone with oily and sensitive skin.
